Ecobuild will once again be a source of inspiration, innovation and education for the sustainable built community. Following last year’s success we are determined to make next year an even better event for you and your company with exciting new features including:
Ecobuild Arena – bringing big names and ideas to the heart of the show
Brand new features such as Green Deal Terrace, Future Materials Gallery and The Light Box
More expert speakers, conference and seminar sessions than ever before, including 2 brand new conference streams.
This seminar has been organised to explore the possibilities of ceramic facades through many different mediums and techniques. We will be talking to a variety of speakers from artists, architects to manufacturers, contractors and engineers. Discussing both modest properties and our most distinguished buildings in the built environment today. We will explore the technological advances in industry machinery and compare these to tactile craftsmanship which has evolved with the use of clay products and surfaces and how we can exploit these advances in the future.
This two day free workshop (in two parts separated by a week) is designed to enable professional delegates to better understand the multifaceted nature of sustainability and how the principles of sustainability may in practice be applied to historic buildings. Delegates must work in an SME in the greater West Midlands region to be eligible for this free assistance.
This special symposium provides an invaluable opportunity for local authorities, housing associations, developers, third sector organisations and other key stakeholders to discuss the Government’s sustainable housing policy and the roles of local authorities and their strategic partners in bringing empty properties back into use.
From spaces to places – Building with earth will highlight new and best practice, the methods and creativity necessary to achieve new structures and experience in conserving the old. We will consider the wider discussion, acceptance and use of earthen construction materials.
