ASCHB – AGM & Conference – Conserving Knowledge: Recording, archiving and retrieving the historic environment for future generations

6 March 2020 - 09:00 - 17:00

ASCHB presents a one-day conference exploring the recording of historic environments and the archiving of those records for the future from the traditional paper and pencil methods to those using the latest technologies!

Hear papers from a wide variety of expert practitioners whose work in this field has developed alongside the emerging new technologies.

Julian Harrap, Tobit Curteis, Philippa Turner, Joe Thompson, Alex di Valmarana, Carl Brookes, James Hepher.  Sessions chaired by Jean Letherby and Ingval Maxwell.

Students on undergraduate and postgraduate courses and those serving apprenticeships are eligible for discounted places at £65 which just covers the venue costs. This fee can also include a one year membership to the association and gives access to a series of evening talks and focussed visits to places of historic interest.

Association membership is by invitation but expressions of interest are always followed up and membership usually ensues.

Net-working opportunities with the speakers and fellow delegates will be built into the day. CPD certificates can be supplied on request.
