The Exhibition will run from 1st April – 27th April, while the talk: Living Buildings — Back to the Future will be on 24th April.

Three specialists in the restoration of buildings and the regeneration of cities will be speaking about the future of heritage in Cambridgeshire. The discussion will be introduced by Architect Matthew Seaborn, Head of Donald Insall Associates’ Cambridge office which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. Donald Insall Associates are the leading conservation architecture practice in the country with eight regional offices around the UK.

Matthew Seaborn will be joined by Historic Building Consultant Peter Riddington from Bury St Edmunds and Hannah Parham who, prior to leading the Historic Buildings Consultancy team at Donald Insall Associates, was an inspector at English Heritage (now Historic England) and responsible for listing buildings in London and the South East.

Topics tackled by the three speakers include: How do we enable positive change in a historic environment? What are the most pertinent questions when designing a new building anew on a historically sensitive site? Why conserve historic buildings?
