The initial analysis of a building, technical issues and principles of design as well as how to deal with heritage values. It will focus on protected grand historic buildings and also everyday traditionally built homes. It will be presented by Professor John Edwards, Chair of the IHBC (Institute of Historic Building Conservation) Technical Panel, a Chartered Environmentalist, Chartered Building Surveyor and Chartered Construction Manager with over 30 years’ experience and has been responsible for the retrofit of thousands of buildings.
