GCHT – Professional Accreditation Conference **POSTPONED**

26 March 2020 - 10:00 - 17:00

POSTPONED

**This event has been postponed, further details TBC**

In 2017 and 2018 GCHT held forums focused on the state of Glasgow’s historic built environment. These forums were well-attended by stakeholders from both the private and public sector, and identified a number of concerns about the resources available for the city’s historic environment. One of the main concerns identified was a skills gap of conservation accredited building professionals, which presents a major hurdle for the delivery of repairs and maintenance for historic buildings.

GCHT will host a conference for building professionals which provides an overview of the benefits of conservation accreditation, as well as practical steps for gaining accreditation. GCHT aims to partner in organising the conference with the conservation accreditation bodies for building professionals in Scotland (such as RIAS, RICS, IHBC, CARE, COTAC).
