Heritage Lincolnshire – Lighting Historic Properties

FreeAn understanding of the needs & requirements when lighting a historic property. Which white colours to use, the importance of colour rendition and how to meet the demanding conservational, environmental and curatorial standards. The types of lighting available to use as well as building layers of light in a room to emphasize the architectural features. How lighting front of house, back of house and external areas differ. Illustrating the return of investment with LEDs and why it is the right choice on so many levels when it is done correctly.
This talk is delivered by Heritage Lincolnshire as part of the Boston Townscape Heritage Project, funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund and Boston Borough Council.
