HES – Traditional Building Repairs

3 April 2020 - 09:30 - 13:00

Free

This event is part of a series of Continuous Professional Development (CPD) events which are hosted at the Engine Shed in Stirling.

This seminar will look at some key areas of traditional building repair, talks on the practical side – lime mortar and window repair, as well as the organisational challenges of co-ordinating common repair to tenements in Scotland.

These events are run in conjunction with the Royal Incorporation of Architects in Scotland (RIAS) , the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI).

They will appeal to anyone with a working knowledge of buildings who is interested in learning more about traditional structures, including students and professionals.

These events are free, but booking is essential.
