IHBC NW 2021 Virtual conference focuses on the
importance of Collaboration within local
Communities for delivering successful heritage
projects. Conservation and Regeneration of
towncentres have faced many challenges over the
recent years, and in addition to that, COVID19 has
accelerated the decline of the high-street. The
Power of Collaboration in Communities has proved
to be a catalyst in transforming local places for the
enjoyment of present and future generations.
Communities have shown remarkable resilience and
managed to overcome financial and other obstacles.
This conference will provide an insight into
inspiring heritage projects from the North West, and
the neighbouring regions. It will conclude with a
Virtual Tour of Tyldesley, in Wigan.

The conference will be of interest to conservation
officers, planners, architects, developers, shop
owners, local communities, and all those who care
for their local towns and heritage.
