Place Services – Heritage statements and historic buildings appraisals

Heritage Statements are required for any planning application or listed building consent which affects the significance of a heritage asset, this is enshrined in the NPPF and particularly Paragraph 194.
If undertaken correctly, these do not only provide a supporting document for an application but also a useful resource of baseline information which can inform an appropriate scheme of development, repair or conservation.
