York: Planning the Future with Heritage in mind

27 June 2019 - 09:30 - 16:30

With its rich history, York is a city which continues to evolve, and this Historic Towns and Villages Forum seminar and walking tour explores how the city is planning for the future. The seminar will hear from the City of York Council’s archaeology officer, officers leading the renovation of the major Guildhall and Caste Gateway schemes, the masterplanners of the Castle Gateway and York Central projects, and how the public has come together to define community briefs for new places. The walking tour, led by City officers, will show these places in their historical contexts.

Cost: £35 – £155
