In this fifth and final Aberdeen Heritage Lecture of 2021, Moses will discuss two recent HES refurbishment case studies to traditional buildings, one is a vernacular building the other a 19th century detached lodge. Work carried out around energy efficiency will be described as will other aspects such as EPC assessment of one of the buildings. The lecture will also cover the results of the review which was conducted into the longer term performance of retrofit work carried out by HES Technical Research Team.

Dr Moses Jenkins MCIOB has worked at HES for 15 years where he is currently Senior Technical Officer. His work focusses around researching thermal upgrade of traditional buildings and brickwork.
