Learn the basics of drawing and sketching plans, elevations and architectural details.  This training may not lead to a work of art, but it will provide delegates with an essential skill.

Typical Programme

9 to 9:30 – Arrival

9:30 to 10:30 – Guided tour.

10:30 to 11:30 – The basics of mark making and removing the fear of the blank paper..

11:30 to 12:30 – Gauging proportion with an exercise in creating floor plans

12:30 to 14:00 – Lunch and town walk

Lunch followed by a town walk during which delegates will be given notes of things to look out for and identify. Delegates will be free to take photos, sketch, etc.

14:00 to 15:30 – Elevations and angles

15:30 to 16:30 – Sketching what you see rather than what you think you see.

16:30 to 17:30 – Putting it together – when and how drawing and sketching skills may be useful to a professional.

17:30 – Close and depart
