The Building Limes Forum Ireland (BLFI) is hosting the BLF Annual Conference at Queen’s University, Belfast from the 2nd to the 4th of September 2022.

The conference features many industry and keynote speakers including Dr Joanne Curran – ‘Monitoring Moisture in Solid Walls to inform Specification Decisions’; Chris Pennock – ‘Nidaros Cathedral, Trondheim Norway’; and Benjamin Mouton – ‘Notre Dame, Paris Repair and Restoration’. 

Sunday 4th September is dedicated to the theme of Climate Change, with both local and international experts delivering a number of papers on the use of thermally insulating lime renders and their place in addressing energy performance in our historic building stock. We believe that attendance at the conference will significantly benefit those working in the built heritage sector.
