Our third industrial heritage webinar will look at the identification, assessment and recording of industrial heritage sites (landscapes, standing structures/buildings, archaeological remains) through the planning process in England, as well as considering potential public benefits arising from such work. We are very fortunate in having both Norman Redhead (Heritage Management Director, Archaeology, Greater Manchester Archaeological Advisory Service) and Dr Mike Nevell (Industrial Heritage Support Officer and Research Fellow of University of Salford, Centre for Applied Archaeology) as presenters who have considerable knowledge and expertise in this field, which they will share through a series of case studies.
