PAS 2038 is a standard developed for the retrofitting of non-domestic buildings of all types and ages including traditional and historic buildings. This webinar, delivered in partnership with Fit for the Future, will generally introduce the standard and focus on its application to traditional and historic buildings and the role of ‘BS7913: 2013: Guide to the Conservation of Historic Buildings’ along with ‘BS EN 16883: 2017: Conservation of cultural heritage. Guidelines for improving the energy performance of historic buildings’ in complying with PAS 2038. At the end of the webinar, you will have an awareness of PAS 2038 and what’s it for, an understanding of the different roles and the competencies and qualifications required for each of them. In addition, an outline in how to apply PAS 2038 and what outcomes are likely to be achieved in different circumstances.

Professor John Edwards led in the development of BS 7913 and has been a member the panels producing PAS 2030, PAS 2035 and PAS 2038. Has been involved in retrofit projects for over 30 years.
