This 1-day course will support building professionals undertake condition surveys on historic windows and determine the extent of repair that they require.
It will include essential information for applications for Listed Building Consent covering:
 the significance of historic windows;
 the components;
 identifying decay and its causes;
 drawing cross sections and profiles;
 recognising the extent of repair required;
 specifying materials and finishes; and
 writing condition surveys.
