Alec Forshaw leads this walk through Spitalfields, taking in a fascinating and varied slice of Victorian buildings, including the Great Eastern Hotel, Bishopsgate Institute, Spitalfields Market, industrial and warehouse buildings along Commercial Street, the Jewish Soup kitchen, Toynbee Hall and Rothschilds Buildings. Alec Forshaw is a long-time member of the Victorian Society and a trustee of the Spitalfields Trust.
