West Midlands Branch – Bats and Bugs in Buildings and the Conservation of Middleton Hall
30 September 2021 - 10:00 - 15:00
£25An opportunity to tour the amazing Middleton Hall – apparently the oldest domestic building in Warwickshire – Lived in until 1966 the hall has been brought back from dereliction and is now run by a charitable trust who have agreed to host our September IHBC session focussing on ecology and buildings. We will have speakers from specialist ecological consultancies who will give talks on bats, bugs and things to watch out for in conservation of historic fabric and the built environment, and our day will be rounded off with an opportunity to explore the beautiful variety of phases this building offers and betrays – join us for a day of learning and exploration of architecture through the centuries.
