Conservation & Management of Rural Buildings

A 1 day CPD course run in partnership with Historic England, offering an overview of the challenges surrounding the development of rural heritage assets. Understanding the Significance & Character of Place

A 2 day CPD course run in partnership with Historic England, focusing on issues surrounding the concept of place and its relevance to the management of heritage assets. Covering concepts, methods, and the practical application of the information this 2 day course is a must for heritage practitioners. The first 8 places are available at our Early Bird Discount rate of £275, all further places will be priced at £375.

Current Approaches to Landscape Archaeology

A 1 day practical introduction to Roman pottery, using recent case studies and the University’s teaching collection, this course is the perfect introduction to those with an interest in learning how to handle an assemblage.

Managing our Military Heritage

This course will examine issues around the protection, conservation and management of modern military heritage. It will provide an understanding of the methods used to identify and investigate modern military sites, the assessment of their significance , their protection, and the management issues faced by these type of assets.
