Aberdeen City Heritage Trust is pleased to present Aberdeen Heritage Lectures in association with the Scott Sutherland School of Architecture and the Built Environment, Robert Gordon University.

Thermal Improvement of traditional and historic buildings

19:30- 20:30 Lecture, questions and discussion.

Roger will outline the approach Historic Environment Scotland has taken to better understanding and considering the thermal refurbishment of traditional and historic buildings. Over the past decade, Historic Environment Scotland has undertaken a range of trials and experiments in relation to traditionally constructed buildings. Test results and how such work can be specified will be considered following guidance published in the organisation’s Short Guide on the subject. Climate change adaptation will be reviewed and highlighted.
