IES – Digital Twins for Rapid Decarbonisation of Buildings

9 June 2022 - 10:00 - 12:00

Free

Join us virtually for this exciting Digital Twin knowledge sharing and co-creation workshop ‘Digital Twins for Rapid Decarbonisation of Buildings.’

We’ll be sharing with you our lessons learned from a world-leading case study example, before inviting you to join us in interactive focus groups where you’ll share your views on the current status of the sector with regard to decarbonisation, challenges encountered and what comes next.

Discover how the University of Glasgow has implemented cutting-edge Digital Twin technology across its campus on both new and existing buildings, through the UK Research & Innovation eDigit2Life project. We’ll demonstrate how the project is developing and trialling a digital twin to inform and improve operational performance to cut carbon across an entire campus.

This will be followed by your chance to get involved in the exciting next stages of this research project, as we seek the industry’s input to develop and refine the technology to be relevant for all.
