8 June 2019 - 10:30 - 15:30

Free

An event organised as part of the Master’s House project, assisted by the National Lottery Heritage Fund.  Llanfyllin Civic Society and Llanfyllin Dolydd BPT have arranged a free Day School.  An opportunity for people with an interest in renovating or caring for old buildings to get together and exchange ideas with each other, and with the experts.  The programme includes:
• Powys’s Built Heritage Conservation Officer, Debra Lewis, on working with the planners
• conservation architect Tim Ratcliffe describing and demonstrating traditional materials
• ecologist Mike Worsfold on looking out for bats
• a chance to hear about the Master’s House restoration and some of the lessons already learned.

Proceedings at Y Dolydd will start at 10.30 with coffee: refreshments are provided with a light lunch available to buy.
