The Yorkshire Society – 2024 Yorkshire Heritage Summit

11 May - 10:00 - 17:00

£10 – £75

We are pleased to announce that the 2024 Yorkshire Heritage Summit will be held in Hull at the magnificent Hull Minster.

The annual Yorkshire Heritage Summit is now established as the region’s most important event for organisations concerned with any and every aspect of Yorkshire heritage, history and culture.

It offers organisations, large and small, a chance to connect, network and collaborate with each other as a well as an opportunity to meet, educate and engage with the general public.

Building on the success of last year’s Heritage Summit in Saltaire, the 2024 event in Hull will be the biggest yet, making the most of the historic and prestigious venue that provides the perfect setting for this important gathering.

This major event will include:

EXHIBITION of many organisations from across Yorkshire, involved in the promotion or protection of Yorkshire’s unique heritage – including many from the Society’s network of Yorkshire Heritage Guardians.

SYMPOSIUM at which key issues affecting Yorkshire’s heritage will be discussed. Details and tickets HERE.

GUIDED TOURS presented by experts in their field.

  1. Choice of 2 great walks with Hull Civic Society. Details HERE.
  2. Hull Rocks! A guided walk with Hull Geological Society. Details HERE.

BUS TOUR to discover The Yorkshire Wolds. Details HERE.

CONCERT with Hull folk group Spare Hands performing at the Sailmakers Arms. Details HERE.

FARMERS MARKET presenting an abundance of local produce in Trinity Square.

Yorkshire has a wonderful food and drink heritage and so, to make the most of the Heritage Summit’s Saturday timing, and to attract more of the general public into the event, a Farmer’s Market on Trinity Square, right outside the Minster where the Exhibition, Conference and Workshops will take place, will complement the event and boost visitors.
