GEO Business 2019 – FREE Heritage Seminar Session

FreeChaired by geospatial imaging expert Paul Bryan, delegates will be guided through some of the latest techniques and technologies used in the heritage sector. Presentations include systems like the Scottish PICAMS portal which gives access to a wide range of disparate data sets; the suitability of BIM to record deterioration through the predictive functions of algorithms; technologies like 3D printing, photogrammetry and white-light metrological scanning; while case studies include the creation of a detailed interactive map of Highgate Cemetery to record the precise location of memorials linked to historic records of burials and grave ownership as well as trees and the ecology of the area.
